Import Procedures
1) You send us your requirements of the vehicle wanted. (e.g. budget, colour, specification, modificaations, make and model).
2) We will then make contact with our Japanese network and source a range of cars for you to view.
3) Once we receive details of vehicles available, we will email you all details and pictures and we will also supply you with an 'On the road' price.
4) If you wish to continue with the purchase, you will be required to send us the Japanese C.I.F (cost, insurance and freight) immediatly to secure the car and start the import process. A receipt will be issued upon payment received.
5) Whilst the car is in transit, we will ask for the second installment, to cover VAT, duty, terminal costs, etc.
6) Upon docking in the UK, we will take the car to be prepared for MOT/ESVA tests immediatly.
7) Once the car has passed the relevent ESVA/MOT tests, we take the car back to Rising Sun Imports to be valeted, taxed, registered and number plates made.
8) We will then imform you when the car will be ready to collect and for you to pay the final installment, upon payment received (receipt issued detailing all transactions), the car will be released and you can drive home !
