It doesn't suffer from the traffic and noise of many coastal locations and benefits from easy access to all main routes. It is 25 minutes from Malaga airport, and only 5km from Fuengirola, for shopping, beach, and nightlife.

The vast Myramar shopping centre is just off the main road into Fuengirola. Marbella is a 20 minute drive, and Puerto Banus a couple of minutes more. Mijas Golf Club is only 2km away, and situated in it's grounds is the famous Byblos Hotel where you can treat yourself to world class dining.

The resort of La Cala, is a scenic and easy 5km drive through the countryside.

It has a long unspoilt beach and is a lovely, relaxed town with a very good selection of restaurants and a few bars.
